48-year-old Alejandro Balderas-Avilez was arrested by the Colorado Springs Police Department in a fatal hit-and-run case from December 2023. The victim, Dolores Holler, was struck by a car at the intersection of Airport Road and Chelton Road, and later succumbed to her injuries. Balderas-Avilez was charged with leaving the scene of an accident involving death and is due in El Paso County Court on June 20.
