Vice President Kamala Harris hosted an event at the White House to mark the International Day for the Elimination of Sexual Violence in Conflict, announcing the Dignity in Documentation Initiative. The $10 million program, backed by the U.S. Department of State, supports survivor- and civil society-led efforts to investigate and document conflict-related sexual violence (CRSV) in line with the Murad Code. The initiative aims to promote justice for survivors by ensuring accountability for crimes punishable under international law.
