The USDA awards $50 million to 141 awardees in 40 states and Puerto Rico via the Farm Labor Stabilization and Protection Pilot Program. This program aims to improve supply chain resilience, strengthen protections for farmworkers, and expand legal pathways for labor migration. It supports 177 unique agricultural operations and over 11,000 workers, primarily helping small and mid-sized farms hire and retain workers while benefiting rural communities.
