The US Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) plans to shut down the advance payments program for Medicare providers affected by Change Healthcare's service disruptions on July 12. Over $2.55 billion in accelerated payments and $717.18 million in advance payments have been issued to 4,200 providers and suppliers since the program's initiation, with 96% of CHOPD payments recovered.
