2024: Sony Pictures confirms Uncharted 2 film sequel with Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg reprising roles.
Sony Pictures confirms an Uncharted 2 movie is in development, following the success of the 2022 film adaptation of the popular PlayStation games. The sequel was confirmed by Steven O'Dell, Sony's President of International Distribution, during a presentation at the 2024 CineEurope trade show. Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg are expected to reprise their roles as Nathan Drake and Victor "Sully" Sullivan, respectively, in the sequel.
