SIGA Technologies expands access to antiviral drug TPOXX for ASEAN member states to combat Mpox threat.
SIGA Technologies has reached an agreement to expand access to its antiviral drug, TPOXX (tecovirimat), to ASEAN member states. The deal supports ASEAN's use of funds for preparedness activities against potential public health events, such as the Mpox threat. TPOXX treats smallpox, Mpox, cowpox, and vaccinia complications, and has been approved by the FDA, EMA, and MHRA.
