Shell acquires Pavilion Energy from Temasek, expanding its LNG portfolio in Asia and Europe.
Shell has agreed to purchase Singapore-based liquefied natural gas (LNG) trader Pavilion Energy from Temasek for an undisclosed amount. This acquisition will expand Shell's LNG portfolio, providing greater reach in Asia and Europe markets. Pavilion Energy is involved in LNG trading, shipping, natural gas supply, and marketing activities. The deal includes Pavilion Energy's 6.5 million tonnes per annum of contracted LNG supply and will strengthen Shell's leadership position in the global LNG market.
