24 NATO member states establish a €1bn innovation fund for AI, robots, and space tech, investing in Fractile AI and ARX Robotics.

NATO's one billion euro ($1.1 billion) innovation fund, backed by 24 of its 32 member states, is targeting investments in AI, robots, and space technology. The first tranche of companies receiving funding includes London-based Fractile AI, which aims to boost the speed of large language models like ChatGPT, and Germany's ARX Robotics, which designs unmanned robots for heavy-lifting and surveillance purposes.
