Generative AI from Mass General Brigham researchers demonstrated rapid and accurate patient screening for clinical trials at a fraction of the cost. The AI process, called RECTIFIER, identified patients for a heart failure trial based on their medical records more accurately than human coordinators. The research results were published in NEJM AI, with plans to expand the AI model's use in other disease areas and workflows.
