Illinois Tollway launches 24-hour Hot Weather Patrols during heatwave to quickly locate & assist stranded drivers, providing help with disabled vehicles due to empty fuel tanks, flat tires, battery issues, or overheated radiators. Patrols consist of crew cab trucks equipped with arrow boards for traffic direction and can accommodate passengers. Drivers are advised to maintain vehicle safety and use emergency kits.
