In an interview with MOJO, Nicks stated there is "no chance of putting Fleetwood Mac back together in any way" without McVie, who passed away in 2022. Nicks also mentioned that without Lindsey Buckingham, who was ousted from the group in 2018 and hasn't been mentioned as a possible return, Fleetwood Mac can't operate.
