Butte Creek Falls recreational area in Oregon is set to reopen on June 21, four years after being closed due to the 2020 Beachie Creek fires. The Oregon Department of Forestry (ODF) announced the reopening, crediting the efforts of ODF recreation staff, South Fork Forest Camp, and the Department of Corrections Santiam Correctional Institute. The area, which suffered minimal damage, features two sets of waterfalls and a camping area.
