Brooklyn pastor Lamor Whitehead, known as the "Bling Bishop" due to his flamboyant lifestyle and ties to New York City Mayor Eric Adams, has been sentenced to nine years in prison for fraud and extortion. Whitehead, who was convicted of wire fraud, attempted wire fraud, attempted extortion, and making false statements to federal law enforcement agents, was found guilty in multiple schemes that defrauded several victims, including one parishioner out of $90,000.
