29-year-old Paul McNaughton has been sentenced to life in prison, with a minimum term of 22 years, for killing 75-year-old retired biology teacher, Peter Coshan, in Edinburgh. McNaughton used a fake profile on a gay dating app to lure Coshan to a flat in Leith, where he murdered him on August 11 or 12, 2022. McNaughton had previously stolen tens of thousands of pounds from Coshan after gaining access to his bank accounts.
