70-year-old Claudio Graziano, former UN peacekeeping mission leader and Italy's state-controlled shipbuilder Fincantieri chairman, has passed away. The cause of death has not been disclosed, but Italian media reported a gun and note were found near his body in Rome. Graziano, who served as Defense Ministry chief of staff and UN Interim Force in Lebanon commander, was appointed Fincantieri chairman in 2022.
