U.S. forces rescued Greek-owned bulk carrier M/V Tutor crew attacked by Houthis in the Red Sea on June 12.

The U.S. Naval Forces Central Command (NAVCENT) announced that it had rescued the crew of a Greek-owned bulk carrier, M/V Tutor, attacked by Yemen's Iran-aligned Houthis in the Red Sea on June 12. Sailors from the Dwight D. Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group airlifted the crew out on Saturday, with one civilian sailor remaining missing. The attack near the Yemeni port of Hodeidah caused severe flooding and damage to the engine room, leaving the ship unable to manoeuvre.
