2 toddler girls drowned at a community pool in Lemon Tree Apartments, Metairie, Louisiana on June 16. The girls, aged 2, were discovered unresponsive in the pool around 9:55 a.m. Emergency responders began CPR efforts, and the girls were transported to Ochsner Medical Center, but did not regain consciousness. The identities of the children have not been disclosed, and the investigation is ongoing.
