Buffalo's famous Old Pink bar is severely damaged by a fire; no injuries reported. The Old Pink, located on Allen Street in Buffalo's Allentown neighborhood, went up in flames in a two-alarm fire that began at approximately 5:45 a.m. on June 17. Approximately 60 firefighters responded to the scene, and the fire was contained by 7:30 a.m. The building, deemed a total loss, was a popular local spot known for its fried bologna sandwich.
