160 new Indian businesses joined Dubai's DMCC in 2022, accelerating UAE-India bilateral trade growth.
Dubai's DMCC attracted 160 new Indian businesses last year, according to its chairman Ahmed Bin Sulayem. This growth reflects the accelerating UAE-India bilateral trade, which surged 16% in 2023 following the implementation of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA). DMCC aims to build upon the $85bn non-oil trade corridor between the two nations by using its district and infrastructure to facilitate Indian company expansion and growth opportunities.
