Natera launches Prospera Heart with Donor Quantity Score (DQS) to enhance detection of rejection in heart transplant patients. Traditional tests used the fraction of donor-derived cfDNA in the blood vs. total cfDNA, but this could be confounded by background total cfDNA fluctuations. Prospera Heart with DQS combines the traditional metric and DQS into a two-threshold algorithm for a more accurate result.
