3 men injured in separate brawls in Mosta and Birzebbuga; 1 hospitalized with serious injuries.
Three men were injured in two separate brawls in Mosta and Birzebbuga on Sunday evening. In Mosta, a 39-year-old and a 40-year-old had a fight, resulting in the older man being hospitalized with serious injuries. In Birzebbuga, a man was found unconscious with a head injury and was hospitalized. Initial investigations suggest the Birzebbuga victim was involved in an argument with a 34-year-old man from Santa Lucija. Magistrate Philip Galea Farrugia is holding an inquiry.
