Infratil plans to raise NZ$1.15bn to invest in data centre operator CDC for cloud adoption and AI growth.

Infratil, a NZ infrastructure investor, plans to raise NZ$1.15bn ($704m) to invest further in data centre operator CDC, driven by increased demand for cloud adoption and generative AI. The equity raising includes an underwritten NZ$1.0bn share placement and a NZ$150m retail offer of new shares, with proceeds primarily funding growth at CDC, which is in talks for 400MW capacity at various sites.
