Hong Kong International Airport's north runway temporarily closed due to an emergency landing of an Atlas Air cargo plane with a burst tire and hydraulics system failure on Monday. The runway reopened after the damaged plane was removed, resulting in 186 flight delays. The Boeing 747 freighter was initially bound for Anchorage, Alaska and had flown over Taiwan before turning back to Hong Kong.
