2024 Gasworks residency in London awarded to New Zealand artist Shiraz Sadikeen.

Shiraz Sadikeen, a New Zealand artist born in 1989, has been awarded a 2024 residency at Gasworks, London, receiving over 90 applications. The residency is in partnership with the Jan Warburton Charitable Trust and the Office for Contemporary Art Aotearoa. Sadikeen, who lives and works in Auckland, creates paintings and sculptures that explore the relationships between materials and their original contexts.
