Former postmaster Scott Freitag completed an 11,000-mile bike ride around the US, raising nearly $400,000 for charities Zero Prostate Cancer and Schizophrenia and Psychosis Action Alliance. The journey, which took nearly a year, was inspired by Freitag's own battle with cancer and the loss of his son to schizophrenia. The ride aimed to raise awareness and funds for these charities, both close to the Freitags' hearts.
