Embracer Group closes Pieces Interactive, the studio behind Alone in the Dark remake, due to low sales.
Embracer Group has closed down Pieces Interactive, the studio behind the recent Alone in the Dark remake, after the game's sales did not meet expectations. The studio was acquired by Embracer in 2017 and had previously worked on Titan Quest expansions. In April, the studio had already laid off some of its employees. This marks another closure for Embracer Group, which has been known to shut down multiple studios in the past year.
