Auckland rail workers suspended by CAF and AOR continue to advocate for alternative services for commuters amidst ongoing industrial action. The Rail and Maritime Transport Union has been negotiating with AOR for 9 months and CAF for 7 months, but has not reached satisfactory agreements. Members overwhelmingly supported industrial action, which began on March 11 involving an overtime ban and refusal to work.
