80-year-old Johnny Boone, known as the "Godfather of Grass" and the leader of the Cornbread Mafia, the largest domestic marijuana syndicate in US history, has passed away. Boone, convicted in 2018, was sentenced to five years but released early in 2020. Despite a criminal history, he was remembered for his community involvement and partnership with his former associate, Joe Keith Bickett, in a CBD company.
