3x Cy Young winner Max Scherzer's final rehab start for Triple-A Round Rock on Saturday could see him rejoin the Texas Rangers rotation if his performance is good, according to manager Bruce Bochy. Scherzer, who has been dealing with thumb and back issues, was acquired from the New York Mets last July. He has a $43.3m contract for this season, with $30.83m paid by the Mets to the Rangers in twice-monthly installments.
