6th Street Bridge in Los Angeles, a $600m landmark, has had its lights, poles and copper wiring stolen by thieves, leaving the bridge in darkness. The stolen metal is worth around $11,000 but the cost to repair the damage is much higher. The bridge, which connects the Boyle Heights neighborhood to the downtown L.A. Arts District, opened in July 2022 and has now left locals dismayed.
