Telangana's Minister for Irrigation, N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, has instructed legal and technical teams to pursue water cases aggressively in tribunals and courts, ensuring an equitable share of Krishna and Godavari waters. The state will not transfer components of Srisailam and Nagarjunsagar projects to the Krishna River Management Board and will take necessary steps to safeguard the water rights of Telangana's people in the Krishna basin.
