Steggles has been fined $160k after a worker's hand was severed at its Hunter poultry processing plant in 2020. The worker was injured when he reached above his head to reattach a chicken's leg to a conveyor line, causing his finger to become caught and dragging him into the spinning blade of a hock cutter.
