2,900 South Korean TAG Heuer customers' private data leaked due to a hack during website renovation in 2019-2020. Luxury watchmaker, owned by LVMH, reported the attack after a blackmail attempt in May 2021. South Korea's Personal Information Protection Commission imposed a 126M won ($90,712) financial penalty and a 7.8M won fine for late reporting, marking the first penalty on the company.
