South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol concluded a week-long tour of Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan, aiming to strengthen economic ties and secure critical minerals amid global uncertainties. During the trip, Yoon introduced the "K-Silk Road" initiative, linking South Korea's innovative capabilities with Central Asia's resources. South Korea signed critical minerals supply chain partnerships with each country and finalized major infrastructure deals, including a $200m contract for Hyundai Rotem to supply high-speed trains to Uzbekistan Railways Corp.
