Singapore's authorities investigate Seatrium for potential offenses linked to Brazil's corruption case, Operation Car Wash.

Singapore's Monetary Authority and Commercial Affairs Department are jointly investigating Seatrium for potential offenses connected to Brazil's corruption case, Operation Car Wash. Seatrium, formerly Sembcorp Marine, has been asked to provide further information and is cooperating with authorities. The alleged offenses fall under Singapore's Securities and Futures Act and Corruption, Drug Trafficking, and Other Serious Crimes Act. Seatrium previously paid $57M to Singapore authorities after being fined $110M in connection with the Brazilian case.
