22 rivers in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, southern China, experienced flooding due to heavy rainfall, with water levels rising up to one meter above warning levels at some stations. The Hezhou hydrologic station of the Hejiang River saw its largest flood in a decade. The regional hydrology center predicts further rises within 24 hours. Heavy rains hit over half a dozen prefecture-level cities, including Hechi, Liuzhou, Yulin, Hezhou, and Baise.
