135 rescued, 49 deaths in Al-Mangaf apartment fire, Kuwait Fire Force increases inspections.
135 people were rescued, including 35 via ladders, by Kuwait Firefighters during an Al-Mangaf apartment fire, which was extinguished in 10 minutes. 22,151 safety & anti-fire measure violations were issued penalties in 2023. In response, the Kuwait Fire Force (KFF) is increasing inspectors to address rising buildings, installations, and malls. The move follows 49 Al-Mangaf fire-related deaths.
