A shootout in Birmingham's East Lake Park left one person dead and two others seriously injured, as a result of a gunfight involving at least three vehicles on Saturday evening. The slain man is the city's 68th homicide this year. No bystanders were injured. The police are still investigating, with no arrests made yet. The incident led to a road closure and disrupted traffic on nearby I-59.
