Sri Lanka's Ramesh Tharanga won gold with a throw of 85.45 meters, while another Sri Lankan athlete took third place with a throw of 77.57 meters. Yasir's achievement marks the second time a Pakistani javelin thrower has brought home a medal from the competition.
