Mark Molnar, St. Catharines town crier, won Ontario town crier championship at Petrolia's 150th anniversary event.

Mark Molnar, town crier of St. Catharines, was named Ontario town crier champion in Petrolia during their 150th anniversary celebrations. Nine competitors from around Ontario participated in the contest, delivering cries about their hometowns, horses, and historical Petrolia. The event was hosted by Petrolia's town crier, Les Whiting, who, under the Ontario Town Criers Guild's rules, did not compete.
