Mahindra Group explores global partnerships for local battery cell production to meet electric vehicle demand.

Mahindra Group is considering partnerships with global players for local battery cell production to meet future electric vehicle demand, says MD Anish Shah. The company plans to list its electric vehicle arm, Mahindra Electric Automobile Ltd (MEAL), by 2030. Local cell production is being considered and global technology partners along with private equity partners are potential candidates for partnership.
