$5M from Victoria's $25M Council Support Package will upgrade Frank Bourke Oval, adding new changerooms, facilities for women & umpires, admin & scorer facilities, a veranda, and AFL storage. The project will help the North Ballarat Football and Netball Club field a women's team and serve as a venue during Mars Stadium's redevelopment. Completion is targeted for the 2026 football and netball season.
