3 injured in Saint John crash; Route 1 reopens: A two-vehicle crash on Route 1 in Saint John left three people hospitalized, including one in critical condition. The crash occurred on Saturday morning in the westbound lanes of the highway near the former tourist bureau. Route 1 westbound was closed at Exit 117 for several hours but reopened by 3 p.m. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
