Indian Air Force (IAF) participated in Exercise Red Flag 2024 at Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska, with Rafale aircraft, engaging in international interoperability and multinational environment operations.
Indian Air Force (IAF) participated in Exercise Red Flag 2024 at Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska, from June 4-14, marking the first time the IAF Rafale aircraft took part. Other participants included Singapore, UK, Netherlands, Germany, and the US Air Force. The IAF crew engaged in Beyond Visual Range combat exercises, Air Defence roles, and Offensive Counter Air roles, gaining insights into international interoperability and multinational environment operations. Following the exercise, the IAF plans to split and participate in exercises with Air Force elements of Greece and Egypt before returning to India.
