India is in talks with Norway's Equinor ASA for potential participation in its strategic petroleum reserves and long-term LNG deals from Equinor's US and Qatar portfolios. This follows a similar agreement with Abu Dhabi National Oil Co. and is part of India's aim to strengthen future gas imports. India's state-run Indian Oil Corporation is also in talks with nearly a dozen LNG suppliers for long-term supply contracts.
