Gas prices in Los Angeles, Orange, and Riverside counties have fallen to their lowest levels since late February, with average prices dropping by up to 49.5 cents and 45.7 cents in Los Angeles and Orange counties, respectively, over the past 40 and 33 days. California still has the highest gas prices in the U.S., but prices in most local areas are now lower than a year ago. The national average price has also decreased to $3.452.
