Federal Government withholds compensation payments for Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway due to plan changes. Minister of Works, Senator Dave Umahi, explains the decision during a Lagos inspection of ongoing road projects. The government is reducing the coastal route corridor to 55km effective pavements, including 10 train tracks, to address compensation issues affecting critical infrastructure. Over N10bn has been disbursed in compensation so far.
