Duquesne Light Company (DLC) urges customers to prepare for an incoming heat wave with potential power outages. Temperatures are forecasted to rise into the high 90s from June 16-20. DLC has increased staffing to reduce response times during outages, and advises customers to charge electronics, stay hydrated, create emergency kits, and avoid opening fridge/freezer doors.
