2024 Chumphon durian festival aims to promote Thai durian exports to China.
A durian festival was held in Chumphon province, Thailand's largest durian producer, with the aim of promoting Thai durian and increasing fruit exports to China. Chinese Consul General in Songkhla Wu Dongmei, logistics companies, and fruit dealers were invited. The event marked the start of the 2024 Chumphon durian harvest season and showcased the area's growing durian production, which has increased by 17.38% since 2023.
