The Appleton fire department extinguished a fire at Pellet America's facility on the city's west side on W 2nd St. The fire was reported at 8:11 a.m., and firefighters entered the building by cutting a hole into the garage. The fire was extinguished within 45 minutes, and crews remain on the scene to put out any remaining hotspots. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
